The KinderZon Foundation only wants to work with 100% reliable partners. You could have read so on several places on this website. We can imagine that you want to be ensured that you can trust KinderZon for its reliability and integrity. About this subject, we encourage other people to form themselves an objective opinion about our foundation. Transparency first and at all times!

For this reason KinderZon has a Committee of Recommendation since April 2005.

First, the members of the Committee informed themselves thoroughly about the way we work and about our values and standards. The result was that they were all very enthusiastic to join this initiative.

It is a complete new experience to me becoming a member of the Committee of Recommendation and after consultation I clearly said yes.

On a regular basis, people are asked to donate money at human disasters. But how often does it happen that the support does not even arrive at the appropriate destination? Sometimes, this gives an awkward feeling. However, you will not say no at moments of disaster.

As a result of the limited scale of the KinderZon Foundation and the local network the activities can be controlled very well. Within this Foundation the gifts are directed into tangible results. That is something that appeals very strongly to me and I believe I will not be the only one in this. Besides, it is all about children and being a paediatrician this is close to my heart.

As a professional doctor I know the Zwaaneveld family for years, also in difficult times. Especially in those moments it becomes so obvious who you can trust or not. From the beginning onwards full transparency and openness was given to the members of the Committee. This will also be the case to third parties. I am fully confident about KinderZon!

After some considerations I answered positively to the request of Marc Zwaaneveld to become member of the Committee of Recommendation of the KinderZon Foundation.

Doing so, for me it is important that KinderZon wants to positively support the less privileged children in a very direct way. The personal commitment and involvement of the founder, whom I know for years, is for me a guarantee with regard to the aim and focus of KinderZon.

The members of our Committee of Recommendation will be actively informed about the activities of KinderZon which will enable us to act in our role in the appropriate way. With a lot of confidence I am looking forward to the projects to be realized by KinderZon.

In the beginning of 2005 Marc Zwaaneveld asked me to become a member of the newly to be established Committee of Recommendation of the KinderZon Foundation. First, I informed myself about the history and activities of KinderZon before I, very positively, said yes to this request. What appeals most to me about KinderZon? First the emotional commitment and enthusiasm of the founders and the board. Furthermore, the scale of this initiative; KinderZon aims for specific projects, which are selected with great care, where very good and tangible results can be achieved with limited amounts of money. Last but not least, I have great confidence in the voluntary, but professional, organisation behind KinderZon. The Committee of Recommendation which has been started in April 2005 is an extra guarantee to all of this.
