A boy who can not live at his parents home because of social circumstances (for which he can not be blamed) was “lucky” to find a caring foster mother who wanted to take care of the boy. After some time cancer was diagnosed with this boy. The single foster mother lost her job as she had to nurse the boy and to spend much time with him in the hospital. In his case the illness had to be cured with a treatment that took many tough years. Looking at the boy and his foster mother being together, their close relationship is so tangible. And warm this helps them to live through these hard times. Unfortunately, there is no financial possibility to do something extra’s. For example, making a tour or buying a game computer. We are fortunate that we can help out with modest means in these extreme situations.
